Chef Fitzroy Andre Forbes Young Culinary Professional Jamaican, Age 30. Now resides in the Turks and Caicos Islands With over 14 years of diverse international cooking experience. Garnering the techniques of various cuisines throughout his journey, from starting point at world renowned SANDALS RESORT INTERNATIONAL Sandals Dunns River (Jamaica) to then later Jewels Dunns River (Jamaica) by MARRIOTT.
He then later returned to Sandals taking on a leadership role at Sandals Grande Ocho Rios  after which he got transferred to their sister property Beaches Turks and Caicos where he has become one of the pillars of the kitchen team.
During his time in Turks and Caicos,  he has singlehandedly open a restaurant for a business owner @craftburgertci who later became his partner for new restaurant Among those achievements he has also dabbled in various other projects such as a Chef De Partie role at The Pavilion @thesomerset he has also collaborated on..

    649 Caterers were amazing!! The food was phenomenal!! I would venture to say this was some of the best food we have eaten in our lives and we think of ourselves as foodies! With this being our first time in Turks, we were happy we didn’t have to worry with the fuss of groceries, cooking and sorting through excursions. Fitzroy did it all! Chef, Transportation and planning our excursions. He was very pleasant to work with and we will ONLY be going through him on our next trip!!! Thank you so much for making this trip so special for our family!

    That you to 649Caterers. Fine dining right inside your home. Everything was delicious, they catered to us, anything that we needed they grabbed for us, and they care about all of the details. I also appreciate that they cleaned up after we finished eating. If you’re in town visiting and want the ultimate chef experience, give them a call! You won’t regret. One of the best meals I’ve had on the island.

    From the moment I began searching for a service that would cater my entire T&C stay, it became very apparent that none would be able to match 649caterers. The pictures of chef’s dishes compelled me to reach out and request his services. Communicating and booking were a breeze. Upon arrival to the island, I was thankful I made NO changes to chef’s exceptionally curated menu. Everything was seasoned to perfection and so flavorful that many of us tried food we had never eaten before (and my not again unless prepared by Fitz). 649caterers provided breakfast, lunch and dinner for our entire stay and Fitz and his staff were always a pleasant addition to our day! From shopping, to preparation, presentation and cleanup, they take care of everything! He even brought me flowers for my birthday, he’s just that thoughtful! My group has affectionately renamed the island Turks & Fitz. And when we return we will only use his services. Thank you chef Fitzroy for creating a most memorable experience for my birthday getaway.

    The food was AMAZING! Honestly I wish I had more pictures of the food but I was taken in by the moment. All of the senses come alive: the smell, the presentation, the taste...all perfection! Chef and staff were very professional. If you want a great meal 649Caterers feeds the soul!

    The taste and the presentation of the food is beyond amazing. The staff is professional and very accommodating. If you’re looking for catering or the private chef experience in TCI, 649 Caterers is the only choice!
