COMO Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos is the northern Caribbean’s pre-eminent private island. It combines nature—1000 unspoilt acres, a mile-long powdered beach—with relaxed luxury and the multi-award-winning COMO Shambhala Retreat, which offers a range of holistic, Asian-inspired therapies, from reflexology to Ayurveda, as well as yoga and Pilates with world-class tuition.  Weeklong yoga weeks are held throughout the year; daily complimentary yoga classes are also popular, and take place in a dedicated pavilion overlooking the island’s wetlands. There is a substantial, fully equipped gym as well as tennis courts for the actively inclined. Accommodation, comprising whitewash interiors with chic teak finishing, includes beachside houses and villas. Plunge and infinity pools are attached to the bigger beachside houses, with one main pool for all resort guests. The island also features very large private residences available for purchase and rental to deliver even greater privacy away from the main resort. The island’s two restaurants serve gourmet and easy dining as well as healthy COMO Shambhala Cuisine, with watersports, diving and island adventures completing the Parrot Cay experience for families, honeymooners and couples seeking impeccable service at one of the world’s leading beach resorts.

Brilliant stay at Parrot Cay. Good food, great pool and very attentive service. We had issues getting in touch with them to arrange stuff and plan ahead prior to our arrival, but, once we were there they more than made up for any shortcomings. Rooms are minimal, but very comfortable & quiet.

Como parrot cay is QUIET. if that’s your vibe then by all means, but we were shocked by how silent the resort and staff was. Since we did a couple nights at the shore club on the main land, we naturally compared the two. Como is definitely looking a bit tired and the service is relatively slow. At night you’ll be eaten alive without bug spray. We enjoyed how they changed up the meals and the live music for bbq night was great, we just found that there wasn’t enough going on to make us want to come back.

worst possible service, asked for feather free bedding three times they assured all was done. slept there and woke up with severe allergy, they called the doctor but it didn’t get better. ultimately had to leave the next day. avoid at all cost, ruined my vacation and created health issues

One of the most beautiful spots I’ve ever been. 100% recommended and definitely going back. Special mention to Elroy making the stay more nice to all of us. Also thanks Harry for being so helpful.

Great place to relax and reconnect. The service is wonderful- I felt that within a day the team knew our preferences and could anticipate them in the most thoughtful way. Food was the best I have had in the Caribbean and liked the availability of both the raw/health spa menu and more standard beach fare. The entire island’s amenities were great to include: pool, beach, gym, spa, hiking/biking the natural beauty of the preserve. Everything felt like it was just for us- no crowds or concerns. We look forward to returning and bringing our children next time!
