The cruise industry has effectively turned the Grand Turk port into another commercialized and sterilized resort. If you have visited Del Sol, Diamonds International, Margaritavile, and the other usual suspects at a dozen other ports, you can make a direct line for the huge pool with its swim up bar and entertainment. It is clean and well kept, but make sure to have cash or credit for any drinks or food. Pull up a lounger and enjoy the sun and entertainment. You won’t know the difference between Grand Turk and any of the countless resorts that line the Costa Maya. When walking beyond the perimeter of the port area there are safety warnings posted adding to the sense that the port is not a reflection of the island at all. All that said, it’s hard to say anything really bad about a day in the Caribbean sun without a care in the world that is completely accessible to wheelchair users. I just wish that there was a more authentic environment.

Didn't like it. Our group did not go on the tour, so we only experienced the beach. The beach was not the best we experienced on our cruise. The water was not as clear and nice as our other destination. In the water, there were lots of rocks that were very easy to hit and kick accidentally while walking deeper in. We had to pay (and were likely scammed out of) $50 for two beach chairs from people who claimed we had to pay for them (though we did get WiFi). Generally would not recommend and easily our least favorite destination on our otherwise amazing cruise.
