Sapodilla Bay is a 900 foot (275 meter) long sheltered beach located off the south coast of Providenciales near Chalk Sound. The water is shallow, calm, and clear, making it an ideal choice for families and visitors with small children.

This beach is a 10-mile (16-kilometer) drive from Grace Bay’s central tourism region and resorts. Luxury vacation villas line the beach and the surrounding coastal cliffs, private yachts anchor in the bay, and the nearby Chalk Sound area is stunning. The water temperature in the Turks and Caicos Islands is always warm, but the sheltered coasts of Sapodilla Bay and Taylor Bay have even warmer water due to localized heating by the sun. Of course, the world-famous Grace Bay Beach sees far more visitors; however, Sapodilla Bay can feel a little more crowded on busy days due to the location.

Excellent spot for young kids. The water is very shallow, without any waves and perfectly clear. The beach is wide enough so it does not get crowded. There are a couple of local beach bars as well, offering fresh cocktails as well as bbq. Lastly there are a few options to rent beach chairs as well as wave riders etc... The only downside is that the bay is perfect for waive riders, which are fast and loud.

Ready for some Turquoise water and some white beach. Not much crowded with plenty to drink and eat. Parking is the only tricky that needs to be done on Main Street.

In my opinion best beach in Turks and Caicos. Shallow enough to swim out probably a quarter of a mile into the water. Nice and calm and the colors are amazing. There are also vendors on the beach selling food and drinks, chairs and umbrellas. Great vibe and not crowded.

We stayed on the Grace Bay side during our stay at Providenciales but wanted to explore the other beaches. We decided on Sapodilla Bay. This beach is so neat because you can walk out far and still be in shallow water. It is great for laying down in the water.
