South Caicos Airport (XSC) is a small domestic airport with a single 6000-foot (1829 m) runway and one terminal. There are approximately 30 scheduled flights per week from Providenciales and Grand Turk to the facility.
The South Caicos airport is near the island’s middle, less than a five-minute drive from the main settlement of Cockburn Harbour.
All scheduled international flights to the Turks and Caicos Islands now land at Providenciales International Airport (PLS). Because there are no immigration or customs officers stationed at the South Caicos Airport, private planes must first clear immigration and customs at the Providenciales airport, one of the Providenciales FBOs, or the Grand Turk JAGS McCartney International Airport (GDT) before continuing on to South Caicos.
