Turks Aqua Adventures

Rented a 4hr Hobie Cat online. I arrived at the specific destination at the correct time and there was nobody to be found. I called both phone numbers, both went straight to voicemail. I tried emailing, no response. I walked up and down the beach asking other boat rental spots if they knew where this company was, nobody knew. Maybe this is a scam? Maybe it’s incompetence? I don’t really know. I never leave reviews but I just want folks to be aware and avoid. Honestly I just want my money back.

Had a clear kayak drone photo shoot. The pictures turned out amazing. However, I booked through Expedia and although it says send an email to them directly to confirm times. It was hard connecting with them prior to the shoot. The directions should say "will confirm xxhrs prior to" to minimize confusion. Once I connected with Khaddafi it was handled professionally. I would recommend.

My daughter and her friend booked a mangrove kayak tour with Turks Aqua. The weather was bad on the day of the tour, and the company apparently canceled the trip. However, instead of notifying any of the customers, they simply did nothing, causing all the customers to show up and sit around waiting for the tour organizers to show, which they never did. Not very professional in my humble opinion.

Booked online for 9 am as they have a long list of start times to choose from. No one showed up. When I called to inquire, I was told the tour was at 2 pm even though my reservation said 9 am. They really only do tours during high tide. We had already spent $50 one way to taxi to the starting point. There is no place to hang out and wait so we were going to have to taxi back to condo then come back later. They refund our money. Another tour group was there, they offered to take us, but didn’t tell us that the tide was way to low to make it worth it. So after, $500 we had a one hr tour and saw 2 conch. We mostly pushed our kayaks through the water instead of floating in them. Complete waste of time and money which could of been avoided if Aqua had just communicated with us!! AVOID if possible!! I wish I had read the reviews before I booked. This seems to be a pattern with this company!

We had a fantastic time on our kayak tour of the mangroves through Turks Aqua Adventures. Our guide Khadaffi has amazing positive energy and was extremely informative and fun. We saw conch, turtles, sting rays, a lemon shark, fish and iguanas. Highly recommend this tour to anyone.
