Even on the stunningly beautiful Turks and Caicos Islands, there are beaches and holiday homes that stand out from the crowd. Grace Bay in Providenciales is one such beach, and Turnstone House (named after a small wading bird that can be found on the beach) is one such holiday home. Combined, they epitomise the beauty and elegance of this gorgeous corner of the Caribbean.

Turnstone House has everything you could wish for in a modern, light, and open home, just 200 meters from a beach that has justifiably been crowned the World’s Best by Trip Advisor. When you consider the competition, that is quite some accolade.

The house, part of the private gated Sunset Beach Villas community found in Leeward, is a fitting addition to this amazing natural landscape and sits comfortably among it.

In keeping with its surroundings, Turnstone House is calm, elegant and makes the most of its outdoor setting. Wherever possible, rooms are open to the outside, so light and air can flow in. Terraces and an outdoor kitchen enhance and complement the internal spaces, creating a large, open and social space that can be enjoyed by all.

There are three king bedrooms, all with private balconies or courtyards, and each equipped with luxurious designer furniture and state of the art appliances. Cable TV, air conditioning and wi-fi feature throughout the house.

The outside space is just as relaxing and sophisticated, with a hammock, swimming pool, covered areas, outdoor furniture and a dining area that offers flexibility and options. A short walk down the sandy track is Grace Bay, where you can go for a dip in the crystal blue waters, or use one of the stand-up paddle boards that come with the property.

Further afield, there is the 18-hole Provo championship golf course and tennis club, the restaurants and bars of Grace Bay as well as numerous other stunning beaches, Little Water Cay and Mangrove Cay.

Q Why is it called Turnstone House?

A Turnstone is a small, wading shorebird that you can easily find on Grace Bay Beach. If you take the short walk to the end of our road you will find Turnstones hopping on the rocks, bounding across the sand and playing in the sea. And if you sit very still they may come over to visit with you! They are lovely little birds.

Q Are you close to the beach?

Yes, we are quite close. Only 200 meters away! It's a quick 2 minute walk or bike ride.

Q Can I see the sea from Turnstone House?

You sure can! We have a beautiful view of world renowned Grace Bay Beach from our large deck upstairs. You can easily watch the sunset right from the deck.

Q Do you have a private pool?

Yes we do. There is a 28 foot pool at 5 foot depth in the yard for the private use of guests at Turnstone House.

Q Do you have bicycles and SUP's?

We have bicycles available for our guests to use, along with several SUPS, beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler and beach toys.

Q Is the artwork for sale?

The Villa owner is an art photographer and her work is for sale, although you can't buy it right off the walls.
